Manufacturing Technician I

Our facility in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team.

As a manufacturing technician in 2nd Operations, you are an essential part in helping Entegris be part of the future of Innovation. As a manufacturing technician, you will perform various operations on products by utilizing various techniques, including CNC machining, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations, laser marking, testing, and operating an oven for part curing, by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and high-quality standards.

HOURS OF THIS POSITION ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY 1ST SHIFT

What you'll do:

• Operates manual mills to produce precision parts in accordance with work order requirements.
• Operates oven to cure or heat-treat parts as part of the manufacturing process.
• Utilizes laser marking equipment on wafer containers for identification and traceability purposes.
• Conducts various forms of testing on products to ensure high quality standards and customer specifications.
• Packs finished products in accordance with customer requirements and packaging instructions.
• Troubleshoots production issues as they arise throughout the manufacturing process.
• Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary. Ensures product is consistent with specifications through camLine and PC-DMI metrology software.
• Ensures the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy, ISO and/or other standards. Escalates quality issues as needed.
• Finalizes all required production paperwork thoroughly and timely.
• Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.
• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

What We Seek:

• One (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and understand diagrams detailing product specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.) and basic data entry skills.
• Experience navigating SAP, camline, or other Quality Management Systems is preferred.
• Ability to use various measurement tools, including calipers, height/drop indicator, and test indicator is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Great attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team setting.
• Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance. Ability to understand documented processes and procedures.
