Jefferson Health is seeking a Vice President of Nursing Professional Practice, Advancement amp; Wellbeing to lead a centralized strategy for nursing practice, professional development, and well-being across Jefferson Health. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Executive Officer, this position drives the strategic priorities of nursing excellence, health equity, and integration while fostering a culture of innovation, lifelong learning, and patient-family-centered care. This system-level leadership role will collaborate across regions to standardize best practices, align education programs with organizational goals, and ensure compliance with Magnet/Pathway standards. Position Summary Responsible for leading the development and advancement of a centralized strategy and system for nursing development, nurse led inquiry, and professional practice based on patient amp; family centered care approaches that achieves quality outcomes. This includes evidence-based strategies to support nurse wellbeing and healthy work environment. Provides system leadership, with ongoing evaluation, in the domains of nursing practice excellence, , nursing quality/safety, professional development /advancement, and nursing professional governance. This includes leading strategy for system adopting and sustaining ANCC Magnet/Pathway standards and establishing learning needs assessment and aligned ongoing nurse practice competency strategies. Provides leadership to establish nursing education and professional development goals that include system approaches which support lifelong learning, a robust competency program for nurses at all levels. This role will provide leadership to patient and family centered care efforts in partnership with the Regional Clinical Executive Teams and the system Quality amp; Experience teams. This role will support the strategic emphasis on integration and systemness and advance the priorities of Patient/Family/Person Centered Care, Health Equity and Nursing Excellence.
