WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:

Develop complex creative concepts and designs for marketing collateral, digital and social advertising for external and internal audiences, generating support for our mission through blood donations. This includes being fully proficient with direct-to-consumer and B2B marketing tactics, such as, email, banner ads, posters/flyers, direct mail, digital invitations, e-books, interactive brochures, and newsletters. Apply specialized technical expertise to solve issues and assist on projects with a complex scope, size and/or risk resulting in fresh and inspiring creative that is consistent with the brand. Primary responsibility is Spanish language asset development but may assist with English language assets also.

The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
* Create innovative design solutions including graphics and/or environments for key brand visual assets.
* Responsible for the layout, design, and production activities to produce quality complex graphic-design artwork. Create presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts.
* Work in collaboration with project team members to ensure client expectations and engagement requirements are met. Communicate with vendors and external consultants.
* Create innovative and thoughtful design solutions to complex brand and communications problems.
* Actively gain complex knowledge of current trends, color, technology, and other related design influences. Use knowledge and research to create innovative solutions

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
* Education: Bachelor's degree required
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
* Spanish language fluency (oral and written)REQUIRED
* Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Excellent presentation skills. Superior analytical, conceptual and design abilities.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Ability to work on a team.
* HTML coding experience along with CSS, MAC OS, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Creative Suite (specific proficiency in Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and After Effects.

Travel: Travel may be required.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (preferred qualifications):
* Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards preferred.

* Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.** This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.
