Description The Leidos Research Support Team supporting the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) is seeking an engineering geologist with experience in geologic sequestration of carbon dioxide. This is an opportunity to execute fundamental and applied research with world-class scientists and engineers using state of the art equipment to perform research aligned with the goals of the U.S. Department of Energy, including carbon management and resource identification. The successful candidate will promote good practices and build technical capacity of state underground injection programs, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regions and Class VI permit applicants. Location: This position is onsite at the NETL lab in Pittsburgh, PA. Only candidates near (or willing to relocate) to the Pittsburgh, PA area will be considered.
