In the Senior Financial Analyst role we'll count on you to:


Business Support & Global Process Refinement

  • Monitor & review accounting processes to identify and implement process improvements and improve standardization of cross-border pursuit processes among EMEA, APAC, and North America.
  • Support issue resolution, special projects and initiatives occurring within EMEA and APAC, as identified.

Coordination Activities



  • Provide organizational support to the processes used to gather and present information necessary for HDR operations to efficiently and proactively understand and approve cross-border pursuit opportunities, based on the projected impact operating results.
  • Provide organizational support and manage the ongoing process of identifying and tracking employees who are on or should be on transnational assignments.
  • Develop and perform monitoring procedures to verify that guidance provided to project teams was followed when managing a previously approved cross-border pursuit.
  • Provide organizational support and in some cases manage projects related to the creation of new legal entities, offices, etc.


Reporting



  • Develop and implement reporting to communicate key data regarding cross border pursuits analyzed, including but not limited to the number of pursuits analyzed, the portion of cross border pursuits approved, profitability, etc.
  • Review source data determine the number of days spent working in host countries and create proactive reporting allowing HDR to manage employee travel within established parameters needed to manage tax, payroll, and other compliance requirements.


Qualifications and Requirements:



  • 3 years of relevant post graduate experience.
  • Must demonstrate strong understanding of data integration, data analysis and dashboard reporting, experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferred but not required.
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment is strongly desired.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed reporting environment with accountability to multiple stakeholders with multiple disciplines in multiple countries.
  • Experience working in multinational firm with a worldwide ERP is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects.
  • Functional understanding of legal, employment, and contractual requirements impacting our global business and industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, while maintaining effective communications with stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field or a combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience; an advanced degree may offset years of experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
