Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree is required or equivalent experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:[Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a Manufacturing Planning Specialist, you'll create production and material plans to include inventory goals and schedules. You'll oversee the master schedule and ensure compliance with material requirements for manufacturing and manage the procurement planning for a medium size. You may also develop material cost strategies and coordinate target pricing with supply chain, while maintaining the forecast in the production and material planning tool and updating as required.

What you bring to the table:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MRP/ERP principles
• Intermediate knowledge of concurrent engineering principles
• Intermediate knowledge of government compliance regulations

Duties and Tasks:

• Maintains and updates inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Prints shop orders and supporting documents
• Supports shop floor supervisor in managing dispatch lists
• Ensures operations are reported and shop orders are closed
• Notifies production control of over/under material issuance
• Monitors floor stock inventory levels and placing orders for replenishment as necessary
• Coordinates with production control planners to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Verifies quantity of material issued to the shop floor
• Identifies and resolves any discrepancies in inventory records
• Collaborates with production teams and stockroom to ensure that materials are always available when needed
• Works closely with shop floor supervisor to ensure material usage is logged and accounted for
• Provides input to inventory policies and procedures
• Conducts regular inventory floor stock audits
• Identifies material shortages and drives problem solving resolution

Target salary range: USD $56,320.00/Yr. - USD $60,940.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
