The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team onsite in Cary, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background providing hands-on IT support in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for providing day to day support for design engineering and manufacturing technology including CAD, CAM, MES, product marking & labeling, and shipping applications as well as documentation, requirements gathering, and participation in systems improvement projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support: Provide direct daily support for engineers and operations staff using SolidWorks PDM, MasterCAM, GibbsCAM,
  • Predator MES, Altair Inspire Cast, Zoller, Micronite, Bartender, Descartes Ship Rush.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with IT support and infrastructure teams to integrate and optimize systems, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between IT and OT environments.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor applications and OT systems to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of applications and OT systems, configurations, and processes to support ongoing operations and future upgrades.
  • Compliance: Ensure all IT and OT systems comply with relevant industry standards and security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrable understanding of standard IT concepts including hardware, software, networking, and security.
  • Experience supporting engineers responsible for product design, industrial control systems (ICS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and other OT technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
