All about the role:

As a Senior Functional System Engineer, you will be the technical reference for development activities, responsible for technical execution and reporting of the development status.

You will take the technical lead in architecting and developing high-complexity functional systems for next-generation electronic products. You will own system-level design, support multi-disciplinary teams, and drive projects from ideation through prototyping to production. This is your opportunity to leverage cutting-edge tools and methodologies to engineer systems that set industry benchmarks.

What you'll do:

  • Working with cross process partners to define required interfaces with controls.

  • Lead DFMEA development at systems-level.

  • PNC SKU Launch: responsible to discriminate NVR versus NPI

  • Support the Project Leader on finalizing the project deliverables (it's your project)

  • Translate use case into initial product requirements

  • Clarify predecessor range and draft BoM

  • Contact key process partner to further detail technical and resource impact

  • Create/maintain catalog of functional systems in Jama

  • Support creation of a Model Base Design Simulator.

Qualifications required:

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. M.S. degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in developing embedded electronic controls and/or systems, product development, or other relatable engineering career fields.

  • Advanced proficiency in system modeling, simulation, and performance optimization tools.

  • Knowledge and experience in systems integration and the interactions between hardware and software design.
