Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Sr Product Manager to support our new DaaP team. This role will focus on creating robust processes and managing the development of complex data products that enhance data availability, improve operational efficiency, and support healthcare delivery. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to drive data product strategy, oversee cross-functional teams, and implement best practices in data management within a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development:
- Define and communicate the vision and strategy for the DaaP team, aligning it with the organization's overall goals and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities for new data product initiatives that drive business value and improve patient care.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee the recruitment and training of team members to ensure a blend of skills and expertise in data management and product development.
Process Creation:
- Establish and implement agile processes for product development, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Develop frameworks for product lifecycle management, including ideation, development, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical operations, and compliance, to gather requirements and ensure alignment on data product initiatives.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Product Development:
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of innovative data products that meet user needs and regulatory standards.
- Implement user feedback mechanisms to continuously iterate and enhance data products based on user experiences.
Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze product performance and impact, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Market Research and Trends:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in data management and analytics, adapting strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or product management within the healthcare industry, with a focus on data products.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams, with experience in agile methodologies.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance regulations specific to the healthcare sector.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive decision-making and product improvement.
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards and practices, including interoperable systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Experience with tools and technologies relevant to data products and analytics.
