Shipping Clerk

• Follow GMP in compliance with all food safety requirements.
• Organize and assign drivers for loading and unloading of daily shipments.
• Input figures for rollstock fed to production.
• Input outside receipts for rollstock.
• Print out audit trail for finished goods and rollstock.
• Handle trucking bills.
• Type bills of lading.
• Order products from other plants.
• Type waste reports for plant.
• Maintain all shipping and railroad files.
• Distribute shipping and inventory reports.
• Follow all applicable food service policies and procedures.
• Follow all PPE policies, wearing steel toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets/beard nets, etc. as required.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years clerical experience in traffic or shipping is also needed.
• Must have basic reading, math and communication skills.
• Ability to use computer is also needed.
