Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Resource Center. Accountable for hiring, scheduling, day-to-day supervision and performance management process of all Resource Center staff and Utilization Review Care Managers. Establishes relationships with payor organizations, post-acute facilities and community agencies to ensure that efficiency and effectiveness of authorization and referral functions is maximized through use of technology. Leads efforts to develop, implement, evaluate and modify the Capacity Management measuring and monitoring plan. Establishes collaborative relationships within departments that assist in implementing and evaluating the measuring and monitoring plan. Functions as the first level of clinical contact with payor organizations as needed. Ensures that discharge-planning activities are supported by Resource Center staff. Accountable to the Clinical Care Coordinators to oversee the Resource Center function of coordination of care. Oversees Denial Management process. Education/Training/Experience: RN License Required Bachelorrsquo;s Degree strongly preferred. Three to five years clinical experience or one to three years Utilization Management/Utilization Review experience, MBA preferred.
