Cisco Silicon One is a business organization with a long track record of building complex and high-performance Silicon ASICs. Our silicon devices drive the world's most complex networks and carry over 90% of IP traffic. We are a highly specialized ASIC team with experts in all aspects of advanced IC package design and heterogeneous system integration. Our substrates use the latest 2.5D fanout technologies for large-scale integration, using the latest signaling and data transfer technologies. Measurement based validation of these designs is critical to our success.

Your Impact

  • You will manage all material in and out of the lab and facilitate measurement and modeling of test vehicles and supporting documentation. You will be an expert administrator, proficient learner, you will actively implement new tools and processes, and you will excel in documenting and communicating critical information to the broader team
  • Maintain chemical safety cabinet inventory and MSDS catalog. Ensure chemical disposal is according to safety regulations
  • Manage safety audits and ISO9000 inspections. Ensure lab is in compliance at all times.
  • Inventory, catalog, purchase and maintain Microwave probe stock. Regularly inspect, assess, and ship probes to manufacturer for cleaning, alignment and repair evaluation and RMA. Generate PO as necessar
  • Manage, purchase, and maintain Lab support consumables including cables, adapters, terminations as required to sustain Lab measurements and analysis
  • Manage and maintain lab instruments and equipment inventory: repair as needed and manage calibration. Work with Calibration lab to maintain current calibration and vendors to repair equipment
  • Maintain Stock of lab consumable materials including adhesives, abrasives, lubricants, potting compounds, polishing materials, and tools necessary to sustain lab functionality
  • Perform routine material cross-sections on PCB's, Organic and ceramic packaging substrates, to sustain lab analysis
  • Generate and document procedures for regular lab processes including Cross-Sections, polishing, and SEM inspection
  • Manage outside vendor analysis including Purchase Order management, Statement Of Work (SOW) generation, and coordinate sample delivery and pick-up
  • Coordinate and manage lab equipment inventory including RF-ID tag assignment and location tracking in the Cisco equipment tool

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in Lab Administration
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert organizational skills
  • Proficient with EXCEL and Microsoft Word
  • Proficient in soldering and basic rework
  • ISO Training
  • Experience with ISO audit process

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with machining
  • Understand of basic mechanics
  • Experience with purchasing
  • Experience with cross-sectioning
  • Experience with optical analysis
  • OSHA Safety Training
