Leonardtown MD Pay From: $21 MUST: The Medical Assistant must have a Medical Assistant diploma and prefer Registered or Certified Medical Assistant 2+years of recent experience as a medical assistant in a specialty practice Experience working in endocrinology preferred Strong telehealth experience and experience talking to patients on the phone Experience documenting and updating patient information in EMR Assisting with exams and procedures DUTIES: The duties of the medical assistant include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vitals and histories Can patients Review labs Triage patient phone calls Handle telehealth Assist with exams and procedures Document and update patient information in EMR Provide support as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
