Location: Elementary Schools Scheduled hours/days: Varies Qualifications: Licensed as an Educational Speech and Language Pathologist by the MN Board of Teaching. Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language preferred. Pay Rate/Range: NEA Agreement -*$65,255-$91,619 SLP Base pay range DOQ Deadline: Open Until Filled - EOE (05/24/2024) Employment is contingent upon completing a background check. 2024-2025 NEA Teacher Contract Highlights NEA Agreement *Annual stipend of $500 for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology *Work from-home option on teacher work days (7 days 2024-2025) *187 Duty days with ten annual leave days (Up to 5 personal days per year, total accumulation to 200 days) *Up to 8 weeks of district-paid maternity leave (individual does not use personal accumulated leave) Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect speech and language services as specified in each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). Consults with teachers, school administration, parents, and relevant stakeholders concerning students' communication skills. Functions as a crucial member of the building-level special education team, contributing to the provision of special education services for students with disabilities.
