Summary of Objective:

The IT Project Manager, Digital Platforms will oversee the project management and JIRA management of our software development life cycle for PCI's proprietary customer platform, pci | bridge. This role involves coordination with both our internal team and a third-party development vendor to ensure seamless project execution. The candidate will be responsible to support release planning, tracking status changes, and managing story writing and completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • JIRA Management: Oversee the and maintenance of JIRA for project tracking and management. Develop and manage JIRA workflows used to monitor and maintain development cycle.
  • Release Planning: Coordinate release planning activities, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Develop and manage project plans, including milestones, tasks, and dependencies.
  • Status Tracking: Keep detailed notes on status changes and updates, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Monitor project progress and performance, preparing status reports.
  • Story Writing: Collaborate with team members to write and refine user stories, ensuring they meet project requirements. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. Vendor Coordination: Interface with third-party development vendors to ensure project milestones are met and issues are resolved promptly. Maintain a positive working environment with external partners.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal full-time employees to facilitate communication and collaboration across teams. Ensure that all team members have the required information and resources to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, project plans, and status reports. Create and manage reports for leadership as needed.
  • Testing Support: Participate in and/or support the management of UAT testing cycle as required.
  • Partner with System Analysts, Quality, Customer Success and Product Owner to align outcomes and track delivery.
  • Establish and facilitate effective meetings to maintain project progress as needed. This position may occasionally require extra hours and/or weekend work.
  • This position may grow to include direct reports.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training.
  • College Level Mathematical Skills.
  • Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in JIRA and other project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)1.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to display a willingness to make decisions.
  • Ability to set and achieve challenging goals.
