Overview

This position will report to the Director of Real Estate and will oversee the management of day to day facilities operations at the NJ headquarters in Ramsey. This role will be responsible for management of operations and maintenance for the Ramsey campus and support facility operations across the field offices nationally. This is a full time onsite position Monday - Friday.


Responsibilities

  • Proven track record leading teams, including internal facilities and stakeholder groups and external vendors & contractors.
  • Strong ability with developing, managing, executing, tracking, and reporting annual and multi-year forecast of capital and expense budgets tied to schedules, and scopes.
  • Review, evaluate, negotiate, and manage maintenance and service agreements, proposals, and invoices including MEP's, janitorial, grounds (landscape, snow removal), food service, etc.
  • Relevant experience with commercial office MEP systems, construction, IT, security, methodology related to operations, preventative maintenance, and tenant improvements (TI's).
  • Evaluate existing building systems and provide feedback on current state and recommendations for improvement including scope and pricing for capital and expense planning and execution purposes
  • Evaluate existing programs (i.e. Preventative Maintenance, Work Order System, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Methods of Operations (MOP's), Emergency Operations Plans (EOP's), etc.) and provide analysis of current state and recommendations for improvement
  • Management and oversight of existing FTE staff including contract employees (e.g. Security)
  • Oversight and coordination of electronic security systems with internal and outsource tech teams

Qualifications

Experience, Educational Requirements and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar fields
  • Minimum 10-years' experience in facilities management role or similar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • OHSA Safety training preferred (Min. 10hr)

Competencies

  • Coordinate and lead meetings related to driving capital projects and opex programs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, problem solving, and mathematical skills
