Requirements



  • A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental management, or a related field.
  • ISO, OSHA, EPA, and federal agency communication skills are needed.
  • 3+ years of safety experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with audits, health and safety implementations, and training.


Schedule: Monday - Friday | Salary: Based on experience

Safety Manager Job Description



  • Collaborate with the global community to share strategies and information.
  • Manage relationships with vendors for supplies.
  • Coordinate EHS activities.
  • Foster a culture of safety and engagement.
  • Track/report EHS data.
  • Lead monthly safety committee meetings along with overseeing industrial hygiene testing to ensure compliance.
  • Manage chemical safety systems, including labeling, storage, and hazardous waste management.
  • Deliver training to new hires and ongoing training for all employees.
