Productivity Management ensures long term stability of the organization by providing sustainable solutions to control labor costs while providing appropriate staffing models. We serve as the liaison between Operational Leaders, Human Resources, and Finance to ensure that all stakeholders can be part of the decision making process for staffing needs. By providing robust, data-driven staffing models, productivity monitoring, salary analysis, and position control, we allow Northside to grow while providing excellent patient care to all of the communities we serve.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts routine to moderate operational or financial analysis
  • Performs advanced data mining in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develops and maintains staffing budgets for the organization
  • Produces standard and adhoc analyses and reports using a variety of data which support the development, implementation and monitoring of staffing budgets
  • Develops tools and data visualizations to assist in staffing decisions
  • Serves as a technical advisor and internal consultant for hospital management and staff regarding staffing budgets and associated tools
  • Manages professional relationships with internal stakeholders regarding budget related projects and requests

This position requires a self-starter who has the ability to manage multiple priorities and to work with only general supervision on assigned projects and activities. The individual must demonstrate tact and diplomacy in situations of conflict and controversy and must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

REQUIRED

  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Health Systems Engineering, Health Care Administration, Organizational Development, a health-related profession, or another related field.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of computers and microcomputer applications.
  3. Proficient in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  5. Strong attention to detail and time management/organization skills to manage multiple priorities.

PREFERRED

  1. Previous experience in management engineering, industrial engineering, operations improvement, CQI activities, or health care consulting.
  2. Working knowledge of other microcomputer applications including: Access database applications, HRMS, and other financial systems.
  3. Previous experience in working in a team-oriented environment.
