Housed within the Department of Marketing and Communications, this position will report to the Director, Strategic Marketing. In this role, you will provide critical and informative input for marketing strategies and plans for all international marketing initiatives, as well as other priority initiatives across the health system.

As our Senior Program Marketing Manager, your primary role will be to liaise with Patient Navigation and Business Services (formerly "International Services"), UCLA Health Marketing and Communications team, marketing agencies, relevant health system clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, and external stakeholders and organizations, contributing strategic thinking and counsel, essential insights and program execution for marketing and communication strategies for UCLA Health. You will help position UCLA Health as a leading academic medical system locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $92,600 to $202,200 annually. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately $145,000 to $160,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • 5-10
    years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
  • Experience
    leading major cross-functional enterprise initiatives
  • International
    marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Health
    care marketing experience preferred
  • Advanced
    knowledge of concepts, principles and methods of developing and executing
    marketing strategies
  • Advanced
    ability to work confidently and competently in a matrixed environment with
    multiple stakeholders
  • Advanced
    ability to translate short and long range business plans to internal
    subject matter experts to aid in assembling strategic marketing plans
  • Advanced
    ability to provide input to market research, including competitive
    benchmarking and audience studies used to inform decisions regarding
    customer targeting
  • Advanced
    skills in relationship-building and stakeholder expectation management
