SCOPE OF INTERN WORK: The Development Intern supports IRC's programming in New York and New Jersey by supporting the Development Department with implementing pre-award and post-award activities to ensure the grants' life cycle. They support key business development activities such as content creation, proposal and reporting development, newsletter publication, and organizational needs to maximize our fundraising initiatives and contract processing. Experience with marketing and donor/funding cultivation is recommended; however strong writing/research skills and an openness to learn are highly required. The Development Intern serves the IRC's offices in New York (Manhattan) and Elizabeth, New Jersey, and reports to the Development Director and or the Development Coordinator RESPONSIBILITIES:
