School Recruiting Liaison

Allan Myers is looking for a creative individual that can assist with all school recruiting efforts in and around Southeastern PA, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. They must be comfortable working in a construction environment and be able to effectively connect and communicate with students

Responsibilities:

Servers as a liaison to develop partnerships between local schools and Allan Myers
• Provides career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential candidates
• Attend career fairs and school functions to promote career opportunities with Allan Myers
• Assist with teaching classes with a local pre-apprenticeship program
• Work with Director of Talent Acquisition to develop student recruitment strategies
• Help develop students through internships and work-based learning programs
• Regularly speak/present in front of large groups

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
• Teaching experience and understanding of the school system preferred
• Marketing background is a plus
• Knowledge of Construction industry a plus.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills & the ability to connect with counselors & students
• Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and SharePoint.
• Must enjoy and be comfortable speaking in public
• Passion for working with and developing students
• Must possess time-management and effective communication (verbal/written) skills.
• Willingness to learn various software applications.
