Description: NSI requires a Program Management Analyst to support PMA-231, E-2/C-2 Program Office, is seeking an analyst who has attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to confront problems and the ability to recommend practical solutions for complex issues. This individual will be assisting our Government Integration Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) who is responsible for working integration/acquisition efforts. Attention to detail is a required key skill to succeed in this position as well as the ability to capture, clearly articulate, and communicate the challenges seen at the vendor level.

Day to day activities and desired skills include the following but are not limited to:

* Assists APML and other associated members to formulate short-term and long-range program plans.

* Adapts program planning to meet changing conditions.

* Ability to use qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment of program progress.

* Ability to learn Department of Defense Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System and Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) and Program Management Tool (PMT).

* Ability to prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials for internal and external customers.

* Ability to communicate and defend ideas, orally and in writing.

* Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, ILS/R&M program management analysis.

* Have knowledge of MS Office products specifically Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel and an ability to learn Project.

* Ability to maintain an Integrated Product Team (IPT) action tracker and get status and updates from various stakeholders.

* Ability to document new IPT actions items and document project progress and status to completion.

* Review draft hardware/software Life Cycle Logistics Support (LCLS) data requirements specified in the weapon systems Statement of Objectives (SOO), Statement of Works (SOW), and Performance Work Statements (PWS). The candidate should be familiar with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and associated Data Item Descriptions (DIDs). Provide recommendations concerning which data deliverables shall be required to support the planned acquisition.

* Assist the Government in review and construct of SOW, specifications, and CDRLs for PMA-231 modification programs that include the elements of supportability, reliability, availability, and maintainability.

Location: Patuxent River, MD/Hybrid

Education: BS or BA degree preferred.

Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Experience: At least three (3) to ten (10) years of experience applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
