Antibody Sales Consultant *PC 222

Your Tasks:

Responsible for sales of cell analysis antibodies from new and existing accounts in a defined territory through in-depth knowledge of market segments, technical knowledge and selling skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Meet and/or exceed company sales targets in designated territory for assigned products which involves:

• Leading the commercial team in creative and effective ways to drive antibody sales revenue. Strategy should include individual and joint sales calls at regular and prospective customers, internal and external presentations, supporting antibody customers with technical questions and antibody panel design, and working collaborative with the sales and marketing teams.
• Maintaining a strong in-depth knowledge of the flow and imaging antibody market segments including the features, benefits, and value propositions of our antibody portfolio. Is a subject matter expert on antibodies.
• Continuously improving in sales skills through customer interactions, sales coaching from managers, and company sponsored trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality of Miltenyi Biotec's customers and technologies.
• Able to travel 15-50% depending on defined territory.
• Attend bi-annual sales meetings some of which may be international travel.
• Complete required reports of business transactions and expenses required by management in a timely and accurate manner. Additional projects and assignments as directed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in life science or related field; or six years with a Master's degree in a life science or related field; or three years with a PhD in a life science or related field.
• Six years of related sales experience selling antibodies; or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Flow antibodies preferred.

This job is performed in a variety of facilities. Each person performing this job must have a home office environment, which is temperature controlled. This job requires the person to be mobile to visit customer sites. Due to the travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements of nature.
