Job Summary (Primary function):

The Director of Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) at Incyte is a dual-role position within the US Product Strategy Team. This role involves managing a TLL team and overseeing a smaller TLL territory. The Director will work closely with Brand Leads to align the TLL team's objectives with overall brand strategies, acting as a bridge between field TLLs and the home office Brand Strategy teams. The role is split equally between team management and territory management.

Essential Functions of the Job (key responsibilities):

Team Management:

* Lead and develop a TLL team.

* Create and implement an annual TLL plan, ensuring resources and activities are appropriately allocated.

* Serve as the main contact between the TLL team and the in-house product strategy team.

* Oversee conference engagements, speaker bureau relationships, training, and advisory boards.

Relationship Building:

* Identify and maintain relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) through various meetings and conferences.

* Conduct business discussions with KEEs and key customers about product information and corporate awareness.

Strategic Insights:

* Provide insights to the Product Strategy Team to align with corporate and brand objectives.

* Assist in developing Incyte's speaker's bureau and maintain communication to ensure alignment on messaging.

Advisory Board Management:

* Plan and execute advisory boards and KEE initiatives to inform brand strategy and post-market activities.

Collaboration:

* Work with Product Strategy Team, Sales, OCNEs, and Market Access to address KEE needs.

* Connect KEEs with appropriate Medical Affairs or R&D team members for specific requests.

Compliance:

* Ensure all business activities comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.

Expertise Development:

* Maintain a high level of knowledge in therapeutic areas to become a disease area expert

Qualifications (minimum acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency):

* Education: Bachelor's Degree required; PharmD, RN, BSN, NP, or other clinical degrees preferred.

Experience:

Pharmaceutical industry experience required.

* 1-2 years of TLL experience preferred.

* Experience in oncology required.

* People management experience preferred.

Skills:

* Strong relationship-building, advocacy, and collaboration skills.

* High energy, creativity, and ability to manage complexity.

* Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.

* Technical skills for content development and market trend analysis.

* Project management experience is a plus.

* Travel: Frequent travel (50%+) is required.
