Position Description: Project Manager

This position requires strong technical experience in delivering technical solutions and support for hardware, software, and operating systems in an inter-networked environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide vision and innovation to develop and implement robust processes that ensure quality services are provided and are measurable and achievable.
  • Manage resources, delegate tasks, serve as the customer interface, and provide ongoing leadership and oversight to ensure performance is on schedule and within budget.
  • Assess performance of staff and team members, coaching them to improve their performance.
  • Collaborate with the corporate Talent Acquisition team to select new team members.
  • Previous experience in management of software applications.
  • Interface with government customers, articulating an operational vision for the program along with proposed plans to meet that vision.
  • Meet with stakeholders and maintain transparency regarding project issues and decisions on services.
  • Coordinate contract modifications and requirements for new staff directly with stakeholders, ensuring alignment of client needs and contract documentation.
  • Plan, execute, manage, and oversee the completion of IT projects.
  • Provide contract performance reports weekly and monthly, delivered with contract invoices to the Contracting Officer's Representative.
  • Maintain project data in the project's Agile support tools such as Microsoft Teams and Planner, including capturing new stories, tasks, and scrum notes.
  • Ensure all contract staff complete required training, such as annual Security and Privacy training, by established deadlines.
  • Develop, manage, and administer training programs for the team, ensuring new team members receive the training needed to successfully perform their duties.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback, taking actions to maintain high service standards.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a help desk environment managing a team and reviewing invoices.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft and MAC products, technologies, and applications.
  • Working knowledge of tools including Microsoft Teams, Planner, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve issues.
  • Proven sound judgment, work ethic, and professional integrity with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive team relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance productivity in day-to-day project management tasks, including drafting project plans, generating reports, summarizing meeting notes, and preparing presentations.
  • Capability to guide team members in leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot tools to improve collaboration and streamline workflows.
  • Ability to craft precise and effective prompts to maximize the use of AI tools.
  • General understanding of Generative AI and its practical applications in a client environment, focusing on driving organizational and customer adoption.
  • A proactive approach to staying updated with emerging AI technologies and identifying opportunities to integrate them into everyday practices.


Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
