What You Will Do

• Connects, learns, and build EHS capability in all roles of the organization
• Partner with leadership to develop short and long-term EHS objectives or strategies to reduce EHS risks
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with external agencies and the community
• Support facility operations by understanding risks and assisting with adherence to relevant EHS regulations
• Participates in EHS risk management and compliance strategies for facility changes, projects, and maintenance outages
• Enhances the site's emergency response capabilities through effective training and exercises.
• Enhance safe work practices and permitting capabilities by providing targeted training and conducting regular evaluations to identify best practices and potential system weaknesses.
• Provide field EHS support to site operations, projects, and maintenance outages
• Identify transformation opportunities to improve monitoring and analysis of EHS systems and coordinate their implementation.
• Manage EHS programs by conducting assessments, gathering front-line input, and making appropriate adjustments.
• Work at heights up to 50 feet, climb stairs/ladders and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
• Have on-call availability

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Environmental or Health & Safety compliance or engineering experience

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in the chemical or oil & gas industry
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Regulatory knowledge (including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, NDEE, NFPA)
• Experience with emergency response training
• Experience in laboratory testing, EHS or process engineering capability.
• Experience with Program and Project Management
• Experience Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other technology platform
