IPG's assemblers are responsible for putting together component parts or pieces according to specified blueprints or schematics along the side of team members that influence the future of laser technology!!

Responsibilities:



  • Build electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies for lasers
  • Build optical and fiber assemblies
  • Reading blueprints or schematics
  • Test and measurement
  • Troubleshooting
  • Repair

Requirements

  • Regular and reliable attendance with the ability to work overtime are essential functions of this job.
  • Electronics, optics or fiber training and understanding
  • Electronics, soldering, optics, fiber or component level assembly
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination in order to work with very small pieces constantly.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions on blueprints/schematics with on-the-job training.
  • Ability to perform quality soldering with on-the-job training.
  • Attention to detail
  • Data entry skills


Education:



  • High school education or GED needed with excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
