Job Responsibilities:

The Director, Data Catalog & Data Quality will be responsible for developing and leading the enterprise-wide strategy for data catalog and data quality, ensuring the organization has the necessary processes, governance, and tools to manage its data assets effectively. This role will require high level strategic thinking combined with deep technical expertise to lead end-to-end implementations, engage cross-functional business and technology teams, and drive measurable return on investment (ROI) from data governance initiatives. The Director will guide and mentor a team responsible for supporting the implementation of required processes and governance, and execution of suitable tools, ensuring seamless integration across the organization.

Must Have:



  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years experience developing strategy and leading the end-to-end implementation of data catalog and data quality tools; or 14 years in lieu of degree
  • Proven experience with demonstrating ROI from data governance and data quality initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of data management, metadata, and governance framework
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Understanding of concepts such as data ontologies, knowledge graphs, and software as a service
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, data catalog tools, and data quality frameworks
  • Excellent facilitation skills, with experience working across business and technology teams
  • Project management experience leading large-scale technology initiatives
  • Understanding of concepts such as data ontologies, knowledge graphs, and software as a service
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on delivering measurable business value
  • Familiarity with industry-leading data governance and data quality tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Occasional evening/weekend work; travel to ADA in Chicago is required occasionally


Nice to Have:



  • Knowledge of Non-Invasive Data Governance
  • Certifications related to data catalog and data quality tools
  • Experience managing projects using Agile or a similar methodology
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Data Bricks, Snowflake, RedShift or other data warehouse platforms
  • Master's in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
