seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems and Test Engineer to join our
team. The ideal candidate will set a new standard for Permobil in verification
and validation testing strategy and execution, while also supporting new
product development initiatives with essential Systems Engineering
deliverables.

Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for defining strategy and efficient tactics for Confidence Testing (pre-V&V tests) and formal Verification and Validation tests during the product development cycle
Responsible for supporting multiple concurrent new product development projects as well as assisting change orders for products on the market
Effective at navigating the organization cross functionally, driving technical product directionality through close cross functional partnerships with marketing, operations, and other departments
Responsible for managing test device samples, configurations and dependencies
Responsible for strategically navigating test failures and observations through applying excellence in Design Controls (ISO 13485) via the deviation process
Responsible for working with test technicians and product development engineers to define and execute confidence and verification test protocols, including sample size rationale
Responsible for defining and specifying required fixtures or equipment needed
Responsible for other Systems engineering tasks as necessary

Education
and Qualification Requirements:
BS in Engineering (Chemical, Systems, Mechanical, etc)
Minimum of 3-5 years working in product development industry, med device preferred.
Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
