Pay: $70000 - $80000 / year (paid hourly)
Schedule: M - F; day shift
Location: 300 Beaver Brook Rd, Boxborough, MA

The Building Engineer supports, with minimal supervision, the operation, inspection, and maintenance processes in support to mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

What is your day to day?
Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work, and general maintenance.
Support preventative maintenance program(s)
Maintain assigned work order service requests and timely completion in CMMS system.
Support on-call or emergency response situations (when applicable)
Troubleshoot building systems.
Comply with all safety procedures
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Strong customer service and team goal oriented.

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of related work experience, especially in repair/maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
Trade school education or college is desirable
Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance)
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Physical Work Abilities and Requirements:
This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including:
Walking large, campus-like settings.
Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment.
Using ladders up to 30 ft. and working from heights.
Must be able to work different schedules.
Must be able to work Holidays.
Must be able to respond to site emergencies.
