Summary: Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator and within established policies andprocedures focuses on multiangle characterization of murine models with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Other information: BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Ph.D. Degree in Immunology Biology Biochemistry or a related discipline required. Specialized training (theoretical and practical) in handling of mice and processing of murine tissue. Specialized training (theoretical and practical) in the application and conduct of flow cytometry practices. EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience with murine strains modeling human disease. Demonstrated experience in multi-color flow cytometry and expertise in acquiring and analyzing data from flow cytometry platform using specialized analysis software. Proficiency in large sequencing dataset analysis using R environment. Proficient knowledge of pathobiology of myeloproliferative neoplasms. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Able to work safely in a BSL2 environment. Able to work safely with lasers and high-voltage equipment. Able to work independently. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None.
