    Who You Are...

    As Corporate Accounting Manager - Technical, you will work closely with the SVP, Finance & Accounting, VP & Corporate Controller, and Director of Financial Reporting & Accounting to ensure that the Company's accounting complies with U.S. GAAP. This includes performing and overseeing a variety of accounting activities by collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. This role will also assist with performing technical accounting research, drafting technical accounting memos, and assisting with quarterly SEC reporting.

    Some examples of the work you might do includes:



    • Assists with complex transactions and interpreting both U.S. GAAP standards and SEC requirements by performing relevant research and preparing technical accounting memos to support Company positions.
    • Reviews quarterly/annual tax provision and related tax returns which are prepared by the Company's outsourced tax provider.
    • Responsible for the Company's accounting for leases under ASC 842.
    • Ensures that the Company maintains compliance with revenue recognition under ASC 606.
    • Assists with oversight and accounting for stock-based and employee stock purchase plans within the Shareworks platform.
    • Assists with the preparation of various quarterly financial statement schedules (e.g., cash flow statements, EPS, impairment analysis).
    • Prepares quarterly accounting memos (e.g., going concern, goodwill triggering events, stock-based compensation probability analysis).
    • Assists with purchase accounting for successful acquisition transactions including the review of ASC 805 valuation reports.
    • Prepares monthly/quarterly debt covenant compliance calculations.
    • Assists in the review of financial SEC filings on a quarterly basis.
    • Ensures accounting transactions in assigned area are accounted for in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
    • Helps to maintain an internal control environment free of material weaknesses and significant deficiencies.
    • Prepares and reviews journal entries for content and accuracy.
    • Assists with cash forecasting and approving wire/ACH transactions.
    • Reviews various accounting processes and transactions and identifies opportunities for improvements.
    • Manages tasks related to their focused areas of responsibility for the completion of internal and external audits, and quarterly reviews.
    • Assists with ad-hoc accounting projects.


    What You Need...



    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
    • 5+ years of related experience (either with a public accounting firm working on SEC clients or at a public company).
    • Detailed knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
    • Significant experience in complying with internal control and documentation requirements of SOX.
    • In-depth experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
    • Demonstrated proficiency with data manipulation/interpretation and report production.
    • Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess strong analytical skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbally) with diverse audiences.
    • Capacity to produce results when working both independently and as a part of a team.
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.


          Preferred Qualifications:



          • Experience with revenue recognition under the percentage-of-completion method for a construction or engineering company is not required, but it will be viewed as a strong plus.
          • Experience with FloQast software.
          • Experience with Shareworks equity software.

          Work Environment:



          • This position operates primarily in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.


          Physical Demands:



          • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
          • This is considered a sedentary position, which means possible exertion up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
