Knowledge Manager III

Assured Information Security (AIS) has an opening for a Knowledge Manager III. This is an onsite position that is located in Ft. Meade, MD and requires an active TS/SCI w/CI Poly.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and measure the application of KM using metrics linked to project goals and objectives.
• Ensure the project teams are delivering on their accountabilities and applying the Digital Engineering Environment (DEE) and knowledge bases in accordance with instructions.
• Identify the need for improvements to the DEE or knowledge bases.
• Ensure Continual Improvement to manage strategic knowledge.
• Leverage prior experience advising KM Teams on projects on waivers or exceptions to KM Plans and resolving conflicts between KM reference material and new requirements for KM training.
• Collaborate with various departments to develop and enhance Knowledge Management processes.
• Maintain strong communication and leadership and remaining up to date with industry trends and best practices in Knowledge Management.

Education/Experience/Skillset Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, Management Information Systems, or related field of study and 9 years of relevant experience; OR Associates +11 years' experience.
• 5 years' experience specific to developing policies, procedures, and governances for Document Manager Control, Records Management, Knowledge Management, Online Library Management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Relevant industry standard certifications such as KM Institute, Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM); Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), Certified Records Manager- preferred

Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/CI Poly

US Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
