Overview
The Analyst Relations Specialist 4 is responsible for the strategic planning execution and tracking of activities for the company's global AR program. This position will help connect the company's strategy into meaningful engagements and outputs with industry analysts and support opportunities that bring influence and insight into and out of the business.
What you will be doing
Lead efforts to proactively identify, engage and build relationships with targeted analysts aligned to the Company's core business segments and growth areas
- Provide both strategic guidance and logistical support for AR efforts to keep top influencers informed about the company's corporate performance, product evolution and customer successes and stories
- Responsible for managing budget and managing product evaluations
- Monitor, measure and communicate meaningful insights from both analyst coverage and conversations to executives and stakeholders
- Serve the whole organization through collaboration with and counsel to subject matter experts and executives to create industry vertical, product and corporate communications plans to determine the opportunities for, as well as the nature and frequency of, interactions with targeted analysts
- Oversee the management and execution of inbound analyst requests associated with product evaluations
- Collaborate with marketing on initiatives including, but not limited to, communications planning, new software releases, custom content, acquisition communications and crisis communications
- Provide support to build relationships with partner AR contacts
- Partner with AR leadership in managing the program budget as well as supporting day-to-day account management responsibilities with analyst firms under contract
- Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge
- Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team.
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy

- Bachelor's degree
- Significant Analyst relations experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with executive presence
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Excellent collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent leadership, sound judgement, and business acumen skills
- Excellent facilitation and project management skill
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
- Excellent data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
- Excellent ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
- Excellent ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
- Excellent ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to coach, mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely manner
- Ability to provide guidance and support to developing team members
- Experience with analyst relations platform tool, Architect
- Up to 10% travel time required
- Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $100,000-$125,000 and eligible for benefits
