Job Summary |
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist to join our team in advancing translational research efforts in brain health, with a particular focus on mental health promotion, developing and delivering brain health tools to promote resilience, well-being, and quality of life for both those with and without mental illness. |
Preferred Education and Experience |
* Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
* Strong background in brain health and mental health research.
* Experience with translational research and clinical applications.
* Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and statistical methods.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
* Design, conduct, and analyze experiments related to brain health and mental health promotion.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate basic research findings into clinical and community applications.
* Develop and optimize experimental protocols and methodologies.
* Collect, analyze, and interpret data using advanced statistical and computational tools.
* Prepare and present research findings at scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.
* Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and progress reports.
* Mentor junior team members.
* Stay current with the latest scientific literature and advancements in the field of brain health and mental health.
* Focus on mental health promotion by developing and delivering brain health tools to enhance resilience, well-being, and quality of life. |
