Administrative Coordinator -ASU (Full Time)

Location: Providence, RI

The Administrative Coordinator is a 35 hours/week, split role:


  • The Coordinators primary duties will include providing lead administrative support to the ASU Director and Deputy Director, including:

    • Tasks to support daily operations, data analysis, information technology, purchasing, facilities management, and billing, coordinating admission and discharge procedures as needed,
    • Ensuring accuracy and completion in the electronic medical record, analyzing clinical data relevant to funding sources and state agencies, and supporting interdepartmental and programmatic efforts across the agency.


  • At least a few hours each week will be provided, mainly in the form of answering calls, in support of the nursing team, to help coordinate with the ASUs external pharmacy to ensure delivery of medications.

Skills/ Experience:


  • The position requires administrative experience, knowledge of office management procedures, strong organizational skills, and strong technological skills.
  • Excellent time management skills are essential.
  • At least two years of experience in community mental health and/or rehabilitation field preferred, including working knowledge of health information, and related policy, procedures, and regulations.
  • Medical Assistants are welcome to apply if they can fulfill both parts of this role.

Education/Licensing Requirements:

Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
