Inside the Role

The Finance Sales Manager role is a new position within the growing DCNA business. The role requires an experienced individual with the drive and experience to support the new and pre owned, vehicle sales team in structuring finance transactions/agreements for our customers with internal and external financial institutions. The individual should have a clear understanding of finance structures, banking environment and how it integrates with the business. Relationship management is key to the success of this role due to its various stakeholders and complexity. A demonstrated ability in accuracy and structured work approach is a requirement.

Position offers a starting salary range of $90.000- $ 115,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Obtain finance options for DCNA customers
  • Maintain relationships with various banking institutions
  • Collaborate with New & Used vehicle sales team on sales strategies for customers
  • Ensure all documents are completed inline with delivery requirements, and ensure all funds due are paid by institutions or customers
  • Formulate new finance product offerings for DCNA
  • Create transparency in the risk portfolio of DCNA

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree plus five years of applicable experience in financial sales.
  • 5 years of proven experience in sales of finance products in a business-to-business environment such as commercial vehicles or capital equipment. Start-up experience a plus.
  • Product management, sales, logistics experience withing the banking sector.
  • Finance and insurance management.
  • Finance expertise in B2B transactions.
  • Fine attention to detail & accountability is necessary as well as being a people person with excellent customer service knowledge.
  • Computer literacy Across multiple platforms including CRM software (MSOffice. SAP, Novis etc)
  • Independent self-starter, able to master various software platforms with minimal direction.
  • Communication: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong professional conversation etiquette.
  • Problem-solving: able to use critical and creative thinking to identify and resolve issues with products, programs and orders.
  • Time management and organization: master a variety of organization methods, to handle multiple projects at one time and completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity, honesty and accountability.
  • Understanding and ability to explain complex product details and processes, act as a consultant to define most suitable configuration options / capabilities and subsequent processes.
  • Ability to assess and package finance deals professionally to banks in order to improve approval rates.
  • Willingness to extensively travel with and without sales team to customers, banking institutions and trade shows up to 50-75%.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Five years of experience in automotive or commercial vehicle industry sales in a customer facing environment.
  • German language skills a plus.
