Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Sr Program Coordinator for the Chancellor - New Brunswick. This position plays a key role in the coordination and management of major wellness initiatives and projects.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Engages with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organizes and manages meetings and events.
- Identifies funding opportunities for wellness initiatives.
- Creates and implements systems to streamline operations and support the delivery of ScarletWell's mission and goals.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of office management, project coordination, organization, facilitation, grant reporting, event planning, writing and promotion/outreach.
- Two (2) years of relevant administrative experience in grant support functions or academic program administration.

- Must have CITI certification.

- Ability to handle both routine and complex tasks. T
- Proficiency in administrative management practices and a commitment to advancing the well-being of the Rutgers community.
- Strong skills in MS Office programs including Excel, Power Point and Project.
- Close attention to detail.
- Superior oral communication skills.
- Computer literacy including WordPress, Qualtrics and Redcap, CANVA.
- Basic website editing skills.
- Ability to grasp and summarize new concepts and information in an accurate and concise manner.
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic and diverse work environment.
- strong problem-solving skills, professional judgment, and the ability to handle both routine and complex tasks. The role demands proficiency in administrative management practices and a commitment to advancing the well-being of the Rutgers community.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of training grant administration, coordination, facilitation, bookkeeping, and/or report writing principles and practices.

Equipment Utilized |
- Desktop and laptop computers.
- MS Office software: Word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications.
- Rutgers-specific systems including but not limited to: Cornerstone, Canvas, Qualtrics (or other open source tools).
- Web applications, including school-specific, university-wide, and public systems.
- Copier machines, fax, and other office equipment.
- Expected to provide conference/meeting support including A/V needs for meetings both on-site and with remote connectivity.
