The Graphic Artist is responsible for working independently and with art directors and production staff to conceptualize, design, and produce compelling and inspiring communication materials in support of the Laboratory's technical research programs and operational initiatives. As part of the Laboratory's in-house creative team, the Graphic Artist will produce both print and digital graphics, including booklets, flyers, posters, communication collateral, informationgraphics, event materials, and digital sign banners. The Graphic Artist must have a demonstrated creative ability and a superior understanding of graphic design and typography principles within the visual design field. This position will work with art directors to create effective visual content designed for highly technical and mainstream audiences, and will also conceptualize subject matter on their own. The ability to work independently and in teams, and adapt to shifting priorities is critical in this fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Primary responsibilities:
