The Job/What You'll Do:

Data-driven decision-making is a core tenet of the AssetMark culture, and we are seeking a Data & Analytics Lead to join our Corporate Administration team. In this role, you will partner with leaders across the business to influence business decisions by turning human capital and business analytics data into meaningful insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to use information to improve business processes and support critical business and people decisions
  • Manage various analytics projects and collaborate cross-functionally across the business
  • Research external benchmarks and data analytics best practices and apply them within the AssetMark context
  • Build and automate easy-to-use, self-service reports and dashboards within Workday and/or Power BI
  • Deliver standard reports/dashboards on a regular cadence
  • Analyze and evaluate data gathered from multiple sources and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs
  • Translate data and trends into stories and visuals for leaders to easily draw insights and create recommendations
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy - quality review of work product and reports, performing regular audits, resolving issues, and establishing processes to streamline/automate reporting
  • Provide direction and coaching to end users on how to access and interpret key reports and metrics
  • Document and implement data workflows, data management guidelines, processes, etc. as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to independently conduct research on external benchmarks and data analysis best practices and apply them in a business context
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment and agility to alternate between strategic projects and tactical reporting/analysis requests
  • Self-directed and results-driven with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute
  • Superb attention to detail and passion for data and data definition integrity, process and process efficacy, with a high level of discretion with highly sensitive/confidential data
  • Strong initiative and curiosity - willing to take that next step and look for additional insights (the "aha" moment)

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent in a related field of study
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, or equivalent is preferred
  • 2-3 years experience performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis, building custom reports and dashboards
  • Advanced level Excel and data management skills; solid experience with Microsoft Office, including developing PowerPoint presentations; Experience consolidating research and data into coherent and persuasive presentations and dashboards
  • Prior experience with Workday creating custom dashboards and reports is preferred
  • Experience with data analysis or visualization tools like Power BI, SQL, and/or Tableau is preferred

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $95,000-$115,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
