Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire an Analyst, Firm Human Resources.

Analyst, Firm Human Resources, will provide key analytical and operational support to the Firm HR team, assisting in the development and execution of global human resources strategies and initiatives across the firm. The Analyst will work closely with the Director of Firm Human Resources, the broader Firm HR team, as well as other HR colleagues, to support HR functions that align with the firm's strategic goals and ensure the ongoing success of our people operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to provide actionable insights on key metrics.

  • Prepare HR reports for senior leadership and other stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support the development and maintenance of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and HR analytics to improve data-driven decision making.

  • Support the planning, execution and tracking of HR initiatives and special projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR best practices and continuously improve HR process.

  • Supports the management and coordinates administrative aspects of Firm HR complex processes and procedures.

  • Coordinate in conjunction with Director of Firm HR, the firm's annual evaluation and compensation processes, which includes preparing communications, reports, analysis, creating and communicating data to various PG and/or departments and other action items assigned.

  • Reviews, researches, analyzes, and evaluates all data relating to a specific area of expertise.

  • Conducts analysis and uses analytical skills to identify root cause and assist with problem management.

  • Prepares high level user documentation and training materials as needed.

  • Participates in the preparation, presentation, and interpretation of analysis; summarizes conclusions and proposes a course of action.

  • Attends and may often lead specific department and/or firm-based meetings.

  • Drafts communications as needed.

  • Conducts timely and meaningful analysis on reporting to management for use in making decisions.

  • Tracks trends and developments in assigned HR areas.

  • Runs various reports and analysis as needed.

  • Liaise with HR department, COEs and HRBPs for projects, processes as applicable.

  • As part of the Firm HR team, assist with driving operational success in all projects, processes and document management while utilizing and maintaining internal systems.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR, analytics, or related role.

  • Experience in a professional services or law firm environment is a plus.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Proficient in Excel is required.

  • Experience with a document management system or other HRIS systems.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently, in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with all levels of management and staff.

  • Strong project management and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
