Responsible for delivering safe, patient-centered nursing care under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and monitor patient outcomes. Participates in ongoing education and training to develop clinical competencies and prepare for RN licensure. Does this position require Patient Care? Essential Functions Assist in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans in collaboration with supervising nurses.
-Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following hospital protocols and supervision guidelines.
-Monitor patient vitals, assess patient condition, and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse.
-Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and health management.
-Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
-Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital safety standards and best practices.
-Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and effective communication across disciplines.

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required
