Symetra has an exciting new opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Salesforce Systems Analyst!

This individual will collaborate with the delivery team and business partners to build, maintain, and implement technology solutions for Symetra's internal and external customers. As an individual contributor, they will estimate development efforts from high-level requirements and manage all aspects of delivery. A passion for delivering high quality software solutions along with excellent analytical, problem solving, and social skills are desired. Candidates for this role will have a solid background as a Salesforce Administrator and in Agile methodologies.


What you will do

  • Administer a Salesforce organization that primarily uses managed packages for life and disability claims management
  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices
  • Determine whether bug fixes or enhancements are dependent on managed packages and work with vendor to implement
  • Collaborate with partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Maintain organized documentation and communicate effectively with team members and partners
  • Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability
  • Identify opportunities to improve the system, streamline processes, and enhance user experience
  • Champion Agile methodologies to continuously deliver software that is both testable and usable

Compensation

Salary Range: $93,900 - $156,600 plus eligibility for annual bonus program.


Who you are

  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with 3+ in systems analysis and design
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations
  • Proficiency with declarative development tools such as Flow Builder, Lightning App Builder, and Approval Processes
  • Experience with data management, including querying Salesforce data and performing bulk data imports
  • In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce security model, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
  • Demonstrable experience customizing and configuring both Salesforce Experience Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Proactive and collaborative, with a solid sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Previous experience with managed packages including vendor management, relationship building, and performance monitoring
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with partners at all levels
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in a highly regulated industry that deals with sensitive information is a plus
  • Salesforce Certifications:
  • Required: Administrator
  • Strongly Preferred: Advanced Administrator
  • Strongly Preferred: Platform App Builder
  • Preferred: Experience Cloud Consultant
  • Preferred: Service Cloud Consultant
