Job Description

The Day to Day (Responsibilities):

  • Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packaging.
  • Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
  • Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and facility operation
  • Provides design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
  • Collaborates with Contractors and stake holders to ensure projects are completed to design and ensures post construction documentation is captured and distributed to stakeholders
  • Monitors and tracks system capacities as changes are made to anticipate and prevent system constraints in the future
  • Support management in creating project budgets and tracking spends during project execution
  • Collaborate with other facility engineer and operations team members to establish site and company standards for facility systems

Must Haves (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of related experience; or Master's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or Associate's Degree with 8 years of related experience; or 12 years of experience in lieu of degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
