Director of Financial Systems
We are partnering with a locally headquartered company looking for a Director of Financial Systems to lead and manage their finance systems infrastructure while providing project management support for finance initiatives. This role will lead the design and implementation of financial reporting tools, data models, and integrations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with financial services experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the finance systems infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain a service model and change management process for financial systems.
  • Oversee system enhancements, incident management, and project coordination.
  • Identify and implement software solutions for financial reporting needs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for finance and accounting reporting tools, providing guidance on system capabilities, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and implement systems that align with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Oversee the mapping and management of financial data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reporting integrity across systems.
  • Design and validate data mapping for new reporting tools and data warehouses.
  • Manage and provide support for Finance-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery.
  • Foster continuous improvement by identifying and implementing new technologies and processes to optimize financial system performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of finance experience, ideally in insurance or financial services.
  • Strong technology skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in implementing or supporting ERP/EPM technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting tools, data modeling, and system design.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
