POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Director to serve as the content developer for the implementation and reporting of burden of illness, comparative effectiveness, health resource utilization and cost studies, and other database analyses within real-world evidence (RWE).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct advanced database analyses and interpret complex data sets to generate actionable insights.

  • Serve as the analytics lead for RWE and outcomes research studies - from study initiation to final reporting - in collaboration with the project engagement lead.

  • Contribute to the development of template programs and establishment of SAS, SQL, and R programming standards, to ensure consistency and efficiency across the department.

  • Utilize statistical software (SAS-BASE and SAS-STAT or SQL or R) for data management and analysis, ensuring intermediate-level proficiency.

  • Contribute to the development of Content Developers and mentor junior staff on research-specific skills

  • Lead all tasks associated with data validation, data management and statistical analysis for RWE studies within the retrospective data analysis team

  • Ensure the accuracy of study results and participate in quality check processes to maintain the highest quality output consistent with Xcenda's mission and vision.

  • Assist the engagement lead in development of content for study protocols, study reports, slide decks, abstracts, posters, publications, and other presentation of scientific findings.

  • Provide management oversight to the Content Developers in the RWE service line and take on direct reports.

  • Stay current with industry trends and methodologies in health economics, biostatistics, and epidemiology.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders and inform strategic decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's or post-graduate degree (e.g., MPH, PhD, DrPH, PharmD) in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Pharmacy Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of post-graduate experience in data analysis within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.

  • Practical experience in database management and statistical analysis using SAS-BASE and SAS-STAT or R; intermediate-level SAS proficiency is mandatory.

  • Familiarity with Snowflake or SQL is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to work in a fast-base environment
