In the role of Water Operations Technical Advisor, you will be expected to:



  • Evaluate the performance of advanced purified potable water distribution and aquifer injection well systems.
  • Maintain most up to date knowledge regarding advanced purified water injection well operations best practices and regulatory changes related to water operations.
  • Troubleshoot operational problems in drinking water distribution and aquifer injection well systems.
  • Reviewing technical design reports and memoranda for advanced purified drinking water conveyance and aquifer well injection systems
  • Support staff training in the operation of drinking water injection wells
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant water quality regulations and permits for purified water injection well systems.
  • Identify potential compliance risks and implementing mitigation strategies.


This is a part-time, temporary position.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Maintain a current D2 Drinking Water Distribution Certification in the State of California
  • Demonstrate five (5) years of active, recent experience in maintaining a potable water distribution and aquifer injection well system.
  • Knowledge of relevant water quality regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and relevant industry tools.

Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office product experience
  • General background-related experience
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
