Job Description

The Quality TMS POD Leadis responsible for leadingtheKraft HeinzFood Safety and Quality activities for their respective Business Unit, assuring manufacturing compliance to allKraftHeinz specifications, regulatory requirements and continuous improvement of product quality. This position will provide quality and food safety information to business unit partners to manage risks fortheir respectivemanufacturing locations, and customers. This position reports to the Head of Quality Operations.The Quality Pod Lead will play a key role on the BU Ops Leadership team to provide thought leadership and direction while ensuring connectivity and alignment between BU strategies and Quality/Food Safety initiatives. Position will have 3-4 Corporate Quality Team Members and up to 10 manufacturing Quality Managers reporting to them.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enact quality system strategies to promote and enhance quality processes in BUmanufacturing operations, including capital plans, facility improvements, product protection device recommendations, etc.

  • Develop goals and metrics to demonstrate progress as well as adherence to Factory Quality goals aligned to business goals(could include complaint reduction goals, Right First-time percentages, etc.)

  • Attain and/or SustainGFSI certification and QRMP progressfor all BU factories

  • Assure that Factory incentive goals include Quality and Food Safety elements

  • Support new product, package or process development with appropriate Quality Assurance risk measurement tools (CQV, FMEA, etc.).

  • Support Brand Maintenance andValue Engineeringactivities with data analysis on Quality attributes

  • Root Cause investigation and Corrective Action responses for consumer or customer complaints

  • Proactively review regulatory environment and maintain positive working relationship with all governmental agencies, specifically to include USDA FSIS and FDA FSMA regulations.

  • Support Quality specifications, policies, data and documentation for all BUFactories

  • Support training needs for factory QA leaders and factory line workers in the areas of quality and food safety

  • Collaborate with I.T., Heinz US, R&D, Packaging,Consumer Relations, Operations and Logisticsandanyother functional partners

  • Collaborate with Global Quality Council members and committees, contributing to global policy review and quality systems review, decision making and development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a B.Sc. in Food Science or related sciences / technological field andminimum10years' experience in a Food Related or Scientific Related field preferred.

  • Demonstrate ability to understandfood manufacturing.

  • Demonstrate ability to work with cross-functional groups within the organization.

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategicplanning, resource allocation,production methods, and coordinationof peopleand resources.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional partners in effective problem-solving and solutions management Demonstrate ability to recruit, manage and retainothers effectively.

  • Ability to travel 35-40% to visit allBU company owned factories.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$184,800.00 - $231,000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.
