We have an excellent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for performing programming, setup and machining operations utilizing the Haas VF2 Vertical Machining Center (VMC) and other Machine Shop equipment as required. Responsibilities: Setup and operation of Haas vertical machining center. Ensure that Haas production schedules are met. Create programs and maintain program files for Haas VMC. Identify and acquire tools/materials necessary to complete job assignments. Verify first article and perform in process inspection to drawing requirements. Assist in troubleshooting Haas maintenance problems. Perform Haas preventative maintenance schedule Qualities: Must be skilled in all aspects of programming, setup and operation of the Haas vertical machining center. Must be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings of fabricated parts. Must be able to read and write machine "G" code specific to Haas programming. Must be experienced in the use of computer aided manufacturing software (CAM) such as Surfcam. Must be familiar with all of the basic inspection equipment micrometers, calipers, height gauge etc. Must have good interdepartmental communication skills both verbal & written. Minimum Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of industry related vocational training. Three to five years related work experience.
