Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing all aspects of the platform to support business needs with a focus on performance, scalability and quality. Candidate will act as technical subject matter expert for the team to provide the functionality required by the business in a timely manner.They will work with third party vendors and Oracle Managed Services teams as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for projects and initiatives related to the Oracle Cloud platform.
  • Train and provide knowledge transfer to IT Platform and IT Business Senior Analyst.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in currently implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Modules GL, AP, FA, CM, Procurement, Projects and EPM Budget and Planning.
  • Provide implementation support for any future Oracle modules management might deploy.
  • Triage supports tickets and works with business partners to mitigate overall impact, identify root causes and design strategies for long term solutions.
  • Provide solution design, business process analysis and integration as it relates to Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM.
  • Assist in conducting functional design workshops for finance and accounting workflows.
  • Experience with designing/maintaining test scripts and supporting business users through quarterly regression testing.
  • Experience with fast formulas, finance extracts, General Ledger allocations, Journal approval workflow
  • Familiarity with developing reports utilizing the BI Publisher, OTBI and SmartView reporting tools.
  • Experience with documenting and maintaining instance configuration.
  • Work with external partners to prioritize escalated support tickets and manage implementation and promotion of fixes from development to production and facilitate knowledge transfer to business partners.
  • Work with external partner to facilitate automated Cloud ERP regression testing and promotion to production instance.
  • Understand and conceptualize data flow and system interdependencies from systems and tools to customer facing UX.
  • Establish a data driven framework to support external audit. Familiarity with the Risk Management module.
  • Present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to answer specific questions or improve system performance.
  • Produce written and verbal presentations to share insights and recommendations to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or a related field

Experience:

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion
  • 7+ years of ERP and EPM support and maintenance
  • 7+ years of combined experience in software platforms implementation, management, and support
  • Experience driving large scale changes across diverse systems with large impacts on business, cost reduction, improved productivity or risk reduction.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive scalable technology solutions that deliver business results.
  • Capable of working independently, taking initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed.
  • Expertise in optimizing accounting procedures with Oracle Cloud - Chart of Accounts crosswalk, Monthly/Quarterly/Annual close
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
